Nicker Brown-Cameron, 38, of Grove Street, in Bridgeport, was charged Wednesday, Jan. 31, with multiple felonies in connection with the thefts that took place last summer, according to Lt. John Slusarz.
Police were altered to the thefts in August when the resident reported the theft of jewelry from the home including a $15,000 tennis bracelet, $2,000 watch, $15,000 earrings and a $500 pair of earrings, said Slusarz.
During an investigation, detectives found that the stolen jewelry was pawned at a shop in Westchester County, police said. They also discovered that thousands of dollars in charges had made on the woman's credit cards including airfare to several locations, Slusarz said.
Police were able to link Brown-Cameron to the thefts, he added.
Following her arrest, Brown-Cameron was released on $75,000 bond.
